What you need to know
On Jan. 13, 2026, FIS® Cybersecurity team self-identified and began to address a critical vulnerability that impacts the Relius Administration web application that could permit unauthorized access to user PII. To date, FIS has not observed any confirmed instances of this vulnerability being exploited.
Steps FIS is taking
As of 8:00 am CST on Jan. 14, 2026, FIS installed the mitigation for all currently hosted clients.
Clients using Relius Admin version 2025.0 on-premise can download the necessary files from the usual support channels.
Relius.Admin.Web.Application.Participant.dll
Relius.Admin.Web.WebServices.ReliusConnect.dll
Relius.Admin.Web.Utilities.dll
Steps for you to take
For optimal performance and security, clients currently using earlier versions of Relius Admin should upgrade to Version 2025.0.If you are running a version other than 2025.0, please create a Case and include the following information:
Relius Admin version number
Date and timestamp for each of the .dll files listed above
This past Tuesday, we were notified that the update had been posted on relius.net. It’s an updated web installer package. We installed yesterday in our test environment and found only the 4 DLLs mentioned in the bulletin were updated.
