The ACH network is essential to the U.S. payments echo system. To ensure the network remains strong and continues to address challenges presented by the ever-changing payments landscape, on March 18, 2024, Nacha announced the approval of a set of new rules aimed at reducing the incidence of fraud and improving the recovery of funds after fraud has occurred. These new rules have effective dates spanning June 2024 – June 2026. Attendees will learn about the approved changes to the Nacha Operating Rules, and the impact to network Participants.
