Is Omni a Bridge to NextGen
With FIS developing NextGen on the Omni platform, it's worth considering shifting some new business to Omni sooner than waiting for the NextGen launch. This move could establish a solid integration and knowledge base before Relius is phased out.
Key considerations include Omni's current capabilities: Does it offer comprehensive web interfaces for participants and sponsors? Can it efficiently run compliance tests and produce PDF results? Understanding the out-of-the-box functionality of Omni is crucial, especially in terms of manual processes required for business operations.
Additionally, it's important to consider how Omni users will benefit from NextGen enhancements. Will NextGen upgrades be automatically available to current Omni users?
Your thoughts on these strategic points would be greatly appreciated... and no, ChatGPT did not write this *entire* post, but it did generate this accompanying image: 😁

Have you talked to @woodie.westbrook? His firm has both Relius and Omni and might have some insight. My understanding is the OOTB version of Omni does not have a web interface, so that would need to be custom built. NextGen will have a web interface, which will help those of us Relius users who have not built our own websites.
If NextGen can support custom integrations (websites, mobile app), it might make sense for a firm with a longer timeline conversion to explore Omni. I am curious what FIS has to say about that; that said, would it be a good idea to introduce another user interface only to change that user interface so quickly? I get it if the transition from Omni to NextGen is cleaner/smoother than from Relius. Given it is a full browser experience rather than Remote Desktop, I suspect it will be a big lift for front-end users regardless of which system they are converting from.
