Server Recommendations
I'm looking to get a few server specs from you guys to see what works and what doesn't. If you could provide a rough number of participants you have, the number of Processors of your database server and the amount of RAM you use. We are looking to upgrade our hardware and I want to make sure we are upgrading accordingly.
We currently have about 60K active participants and use 8 processors with 128GB of RAM. Everything runs fairly well. I'm interested in how the larger companies compare.

Hi Ben, We have about 135k active participants, and our server is a Dell PE740 with 8 cores (2 Sockets, 4 cores each socket) and 96GB RAM. Our CPUs are 3.66GHz Xeon Gold, so pretty high clock speed. We went that way to save on Oracle licensing. All flash storage in RAID6.
It just idles and has great performance.
