Purging plans with a query

We are migrating to ASP from on-prem and have a bunch of plans that we want to purge prior to sending FIS a datapump for ingestion into the ASP environment.

We’re thinking the best way to clean up the data might be by EIN. According to FIS the best method for doing this would be a time intensive, one plan at a time removal via Relius Data Administrator. We were thinking we could probably:

1. compile a list of all of the EINs we want to keep

2. generate a list of all EINs in the system

3. execute a query to delete every plan with an EIN not in the “keep” list

I'd appreciate thoughts on whether or not this would work or is safe. Hand removal using Data Administrator seems archaic.

That's a good point, we're not going to be using ReliusWeb in the ASP, but we did have multiple sites as installed. Are you talking about a more extensive cleanup than removing the sites with the web configuraiton utility?
