Automating DB Viewer Scripts through STP
Is anyone using STP to run scripts through DB Viewer? We are on ASP and are trying to get this started. We worked with the Relius Virtual Consulting and got an example from them, but we are currently stuck. We have an STP user created who has access to tables that need to be maintained, and I have tested my script files to ensure they run properly. There is either an issue with the Custom Task not calling the batch file properly or in the syntax of the batch file itself. Does anyone have examples of .bat files or STP jobs they could share? An alternative I thought of was PowerScript, which I have used successfully to open DB Viewer and enter, run, and commit a script, but I don't want to take the next step of running it through STP without exploring other options.
