Extracting Balances
We currently extract multiple tables from Relius and have developed a mostly reliable method to calculate participant balances for our book of business - but as expected, we find defects in our logic on occasion and have some balance discrepancies. Does anyone have a standard and reliable way to calculate and extract balance data from Relius on scale?

To what detail do you want to extract the balances? By source?
Total?
By Roth?
By Pretax? In one of our reports, I have a balance subreport that runs and pulls the balances for each row of data that appears in our main report. In another report, I have a Roth subreport and Pretax subreport that again, runs for each row of data that appears in our main report. This adds time to the report processing, however, it keeps the required tables for the main report in order, while the subreport(s) have their own tables, which as you'd agree, makes life easier instead of the tangled links between having ALL of those tables in the one singular report.
